HONOR Malaysia launched a few products for our local market today, with the HONOR Magic4 Pro smartphone being the headline during the launching event. However, that’s not the only standout device released by the company, with its latest wearable, the HONOR Watch GS 3 also taking centre stage.

Inspired by traditional mechanical watches, it’s easy to mistake the Watch GS 3 for a traditional watch rather than a smartwatch due to its elegant and stylish round design. Furthermore, the wearable is also made out of quality materials such as 316L stainless steel, further emphasising its classy aesthetic and design.

The wearable is lightweight too, weighing just 44g and measuring 10.5mm which makes it comfortable to wear all-day. Its body has a 45.9 x 45.9 round dial and the 3D curved AMOLED glass is fingerprint resistant and measures at 1.43-inches.

In terms of features, HONOR claims that the Watch GS 3 significantly improves the accuracy of the heart rate monitoring function. This is due to wearable’s 8-channel PPG (Photoplethysmography) sensor module that detects precise optical signals, which together with the AI Heart Rate Monitoring Engine can combine multiple algorithms and cancel out noise during exercise.

The wearable also has a plethora of sports functions with over 100 workout modes that include 12 animated fitness courses, 44 standard fitness motion demos, and even auto-detection for 6 different workout modes. Other notable features include a 4GB memory, 5ATM water resistance for swimming and precise route tracking with the built-in L1/L5 Dual Frequency Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS).

The Watch GS 3 comes in three colour options with the Midnight Black variant priced at RM899. The other two colour options, Ocean Blue and Classic Gold are priced at RM999.
